“The following passage is a Pretend Encyclopedia-related excerpt from “‘Forget Me Not’ Wichita Horror Update: Will Justice Ever be Meted Out to the Carr Brothers? Will Their Victims’ Fates be ‘Disappeared’?,” about the crimes of brothers Jonathan and Reginald Carr. The Carrs kidnapped and murdered Jason Befort, Heather Miller, Aaron Sandler, Bradley Heyka and Ann Walenta; shot a third woman, “H.G.,” and left her for dead; kidnapped, robbed, and pistolwhipped Andrew Schreiber; committed several rapes against their female victims; and forced several of their victims to have sex with each other. The Carrs have both been sentenced to death. All of their victims were white.

And while Wikipedia, or as I call it, The Pretend Encyclopedia, has an entry on the Carr brothers' crimes, whenever an editor has posted pictures of the respective victims and perpetrators, censors have vigilantly deleted them. One censor made the following complaint on the entry's talk page:

Wikipedia’s censors make a point of displaying photographs of heinous white criminals such as Jeffrey Dahmer and Dennis Rader, and of the black victims of heinous white criminals; e.g., they have a picture of James Byrd Jr., who was dragged to death in Texas by white racists Shawn Allen Berry, Lawrence Russell Brewer, and John William King.

The entry for the Kirkwood Massacre, in which black racist Charles “Cookie” Thornton shot seven whites, killing five instantly (one died seven months later, primarily from the effects of his wounds, though he also suffered from cancer), wounded another man, and tried to kill an eighth, has no photographs of the black murderer or his white victims. Instead, the entry has photographs of limited relevance of police cars and of firemen putting up purple memorial bunting. Thornton’s white murder victims were KPD Officer William Biggs KPD Officer Tom Ballman, Public Works Director Kenneth Yost, Councilman Michael H.T. Lynch, Councilwoman Connie Karr, and Mayor Mike Swoboda (who died seven months later). Thornton wounded reporter Todd Smith.

Although the Wikipedia article now has a wealth of information about Thornton and his crimes, it has been blackwashed. No mention is made of his victims’ race, or of the blacks from his community who celebrated his mass murder, or of his transparently racist motivation.

The entry also contains unfounded allegations constituting a conspiracy theory from a blog entry by a preacher that sought to rationalize Thornton’s carnage. Note that Wikipedia’s censors routinely denounce as unacceptable and delete quotations and citations from, and links to blog entries, when the blogs are by people whom they deem their political enemies.

Finally, the censors thoroughly mislead readers by listing “similar earlier case[s]” that are not at all similar, such as Dan White’s murders of San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and Councilman Harvey Milk, and the assassination of New York City Councilman James E. Davis (who, by the way, was black, and was murdered by a black man).

A perusal of the talk page will leave no doubt as to the racial character of the massacre, including myths spread all over the Internet at the time by a racist black defender of the killer.

The entry for the racist massacre perpetrated at Hartford Distributors in Connecticut on August 3 by black shooter Omar Thornton not only contains no photographs, but does not so much as name any of the eight whites that Thornton murdered, or the man whom Thornton wounded. Much of the entry is given over to reciting the unfounded charges by the killer's family and girlfriend that he was a victim of racism, and the victims' relatives and friends rejection of that charge. Nowhere did the entry quote anyone arguing that the mass-murdering Thornton was the real racist.

Thornton murdered Victor James, William C. Ackerman, Bryan Cirigliano, Francis Fazio, Louis J. Felder, Edwin Kennison Jr., Craig Pepin, Douglas Scruton, and wounded Steve Hollander.

The entry for the Zebra Murders, the racist serial murder campaign, in which the Nation of Islam murdered anywhere from 70 to 270 whites in California alone during the early 1970s, likewise has no photographs, and leftist enforcers such as “Doug Weller” and “Ruy Lopez” have censored almost all of the information about the murders’ racial character.

At present, the entry on the Knoxville Horror contains a picture of the white victims, Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, but the censors controlling the entry have immediately removed all photographs of the since convicted, racist black perpetrators, Lemaricus Davidson, Letalvis Cobbins, George Thomas, Vanessa Coleman, and their accessory after the fact, Eric Boyd. The censors have come up with such fantastic, fictional rationalizations for their refusal to permit any pictures of the assailants that they deserve an entry of their own.

The only white crime victim I could find whose picture was shown, along with those of his killers was Matthew Shepard, but that was because Shepard was a homosexual, and his killers, Russell Arthur Henderson and Aaron James McKinney, were white heterosexuals whom homosexual activists and their heterosexual allies had portrayed as having committed a “hate crime,” in order to get unconstitutional “hate crime legislation” passed at the state and federal levels.

Conversely, while the entry for Jesse Dirkhising, the 13-year-old heterosexual boy who was gang-raped and murdered by homosexuals David Carpenter and Joshua Brown contains a picture of the victim, there are no pictures of his homosexual killers.

In the entry for the Duke Rape Hoax, Wikipedia’s racist enforcers displayed photographs of the three falsely accused white victims for one year, but have always immediately censored the photograph of the black criminal false accuser, Crystal Gail Mangum.

Rush Limbaugh’s Media Enemies Used a Wikipedia Libel to Shoot Down His Bid to Co-Own an NFL Team

David Checketts, an investor and owner of sports teams, approached me in late May about investing in the St. Louis Rams football franchise. As a football fan, I was intrigued. I invited him to my home where we discussed it further. Even after informing him that some people might try to make an issue of my participation, Mr. Checketts said he didn't much care. I accepted his offer.

It didn't take long before my name was selectively leaked to the media as part of the Checketts investment group. Shortly thereafter, the media elicited comments from the likes of Al Sharpton. In 1998 Mr. Sharpton was found guilty of defamation and ordered to pay $65,000 for falsely accusing a New York prosecutor of rape in the 1987 Tawana Brawley case. He also played a leading role in the 1991 Crown Heights riot (he called neighborhood Jews "diamond merchants") and 1995 Freddie's Fashion Mart riot.

Not to be outdone, Jesse Jackson, whose history includes anti-Semitic speech (in 1984 he referred to Jews as "Hymies" and to New York City as "Hymietown" in a Washington Post interview) chimed in. He found me unfit to be associated with the NFL. I was too divisive and worse. I was accused of once supporting slavery and having praised Martin Luther King Jr.'s murderer, James Earl Ray.

Next came writers in the sports world, like the Washington Post's Michael Wilbon. He wrote this gem earlier this week: "I'm not going to try and give specific examples of things Limbaugh has said over the years because I screwed up already doing that, repeating a quote attributed to Limbaugh (about slavery) which he has told me he simply did not say and does not reflect his feelings. I take him at his word. . . . "

Mr. Wilbon wasn't alone. Numerous sportswriters, CNN, MSNBC, among others, falsely attributed to me statements I had never made. Their sources, as best I can tell, were Wikipedia and each other. But the Wikipedia post was based on a fabrication printed in a book that also lacked any citation to an actual source.

I never said I supported slavery and I never praised James Earl Ray. How sick would that be? Just as sick as those who would use such outrageous slanders against me or anyone else who never even thought such things. Mr. Wilbon refuses to take responsibility for his poison pen, writing instead that he will take my word that I did not make these statements; others, like Rick Sanchez of CNN, essentially used the same sleight-of-hand.

The sports media elicited comments from a handful of players, none of whom I can recall ever meeting. Among other things, at least one said he would never play for a team I was involved in given my racial views. My racial views? You mean, my belief in a colorblind society where every individual is treated as a precious human being without regard to his race? Where football players should earn as much as they can and keep as much as they can, regardless of race? Those controversial racial views?

[The black players who damned Limbaugh’s “racial views” were New York Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka, and Jets linebacker, Bart Scott.

It wasn’t Limbaugh’s “views” at all that outraged Kiwanuka and Scott, but rather his report on the brutal, racist school bus attack by blacks on a white boy in St. Louis.

In 2003, during a brief sports gig at ESPN, he had correctly pointed out that Donovan McNabb got kid glove treatment from the media because they wanted a black quarterback to succeed in the NFL. The channel forced him to resign. ESPN has been so obscenely pc for so long that you have to wonder if it had only hired Limbaugh, in order to humiliate him, as a PR gambit.

A little over one year later, McNabb choked in his only appearance in the Super Bowl.

In 2009, the semi-literate Bart Scott said, “It's an oxymoron [?!] that he criticized Donovan McNabb.”

Kiwanuka and Scott are such racist dirt bags that for them any white who exposes black racism or privilege, no matter how evil, must be met with the social “death penalty” of the scarlet “R.”

Mathias Kiwanuka loves his former defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, but the Giants' defensive end says he will never play for Spagnuolo's Rams if Rush Limbaugh purchases the team.

Kiwanuka and the Jets' Bart Scott made it clear Thursday that they would never play for the Rams or any team owned by the controversial conservative radio host.

"All I know is from the last comment I heard, he said in (President) Obama's America, white kids are getting beat up on the bus while black kids are chanting 'right on,'" Kiwanuka told The Daily News. "I mean, I don't want anything to do with a team that he has any part of. He can do whatever he wants, it is a free country. But if it goes through, I can tell you where I am not going to play."

So, the black players have no problem with black kids beating the hell out of white kids on the school bus for traveling while white. But they want us to believe that Limbaugh is a “racist”?]

The NFL players union boss, DeMaurice Smith, jumped in. A Washington criminal defense lawyer, Democratic Party supporter and Barack Obama donor, he sent a much publicized email to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell saying that it was important for the league to reject discrimination and hatred.

When Mr. Goodell was asked about me, he suggested that my 2003 comment criticizing the media's coverage of Donovan McNabb—in which I said the media was cheerleading Mr. McNabb because they wanted a successful black quarterback—fell short of the NFL's "high standard." High standard? Half a decade later, the media would behave the same way about the presidential candidacy of Mr. Obama.

Having brought me into his group, Mr. Checketts now wanted a way out. He asked me to resign. I told him no way. I had done nothing wrong. I had not uttered the words these people were putting in my mouth. And I would not bow to their libels and pressure. He would have to drop me from the group. A few days later, he did.

As I explained on my radio show, this spectacle is bigger than I am on several levels. There is a contempt in the news business, including the sportswriter community, for conservatives that reflects the blind hatred espoused by Messrs. Sharpton and Jackson. "Racism" is too often their sledgehammer. And it is being used to try to keep citizens who don't share the left's agenda from participating in the full array of opportunities this nation otherwise affords each of us. It was on display many years ago in an effort to smear Clarence Thomas with racist stereotypes and keep him off the Supreme Court. More recently, it was employed against patriotic citizens who attended town-hall meetings and tea-party protests.

These intimidation tactics are working and spreading, and they are a cancer on our society.

Wikipedia Scientific Hoax Alert: In Article on the U.S. Census, the Encyclopedia That Any Leftwing Fraud Can Edit Promotes “Race Does Not Exist” Myth

In the United States Census 2000, respondents were tallied in each of the race groups they reported. Consequently, the total of each racial category exceeds the total population because some people reported more than one race.

According to James P. Allen and Eugene Turner from California State University, Northridge, by some calculations in the 2000 Census the largest part white bi-racial population is white/Native American and Alaskan Native, at 7,015,017, followed by white/black at 737,492, then white/Asian at 727,197, and finally white/Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander at 125,628.

The Census Bureau implemented a Census Quality Survey, gathering data from approximately 50,000 households in order to assess the reporting of race and Hispanic origin in the United States Census 2000 with the purpose [sic] creating a way to make comparisons between the United States Census 2000 with previous Census racial data.

In September 1997, during the process of revision of racial categories previously declared by OMB directive no. 15, the American Anthropological Association (AAA) recommended that OMB combine the "race" and "ethnicity" categories into one question to appear as "race/ethnicity" for the United States Census, 2000.

The Interagency Committee agrees, stating that "race" and "ethnicity" were not sufficiently defined and "that many respondents conceptualize 'race' and 'ethnicity' as one in the same {{sic}} [N.S. “{{sic}}” was in the Wikipedia text] underscor[ing] the need to consolidate these terms into one category, using a term that is more meaningful to the American people." [Read: “More meaningful to” Marxists and others waging race war on white Americans.]

The AAA also stated,

"The American Anthropological Association recommends the elimination of the term "race" [sic] from OMB Directive 15 during the planning for the 2010 Census. During the past 50 years, "race" has been scientifically proven to not be a real, natural phenomenon. More specific, social categories such as "ethnicity" [sic] or "ethnic group" [sic] are more salient for scientific purposes and have fewer of the negative, racist connotations for which the concept of race was developed."

"Yet the concept of race has become thoroughly—and perniciously—woven into the cultural and political fabric of the United States. [The concept of race is older than the United States.] It has become an essential element of both individual identity and government policy. Because so much harm has been based on "racial" [sic] distinctions over the years, correctives for such harm must also acknowledge the impact of "racial" [sic] consciousness among the U.S. populace, regardless of the fact that "race" [sic] has no scientific justification in human biology. Eventually, however, these classifications must be transcended and replaced by more non-racist and accurate ways of representing the diversity of the U.S. population." [N.S.: My use of “sic” in the previous two paragraphs is due to Wikipedia’s improper use of double quotes both to open and close quoted paragraphs, and for words within the paragraphs, which should receive single quotation marks.]

The recommendations of the AAA were not adopted by the Census Bureau for the United States Census 2000 or the United States Census 2010.

Race has never been “scientifically proven to not be a real, natural phenomenon.” Apparently, professors of anthropology understand under “scientifically proven,” endlessly repeating what they know to be a lie, and destroying the career of anyone who refuses to play along.

The myth that the races are identical in their abilities was spread by Franz Boas (1858-1942), a German Jewish immigrant, whose true faith was socialism. The reason Boas invented the myth was purely political, and anti-scientific. As Zygmund Dobbs showed in The Great Deceit: Social Pseudo-Sciences (1964), Boas was a fanatical socialist who had no training in anthropology, as opposed to physics and geography, and who undertook a deliberate political campaign to hijack anthropology, and turn it into a propagandistic tool of stealthy, organized socialism. Boas was hugely successful.

He and his comrades took over one anthropology department after another.

The anti-scientific origins of the ultimate “race does not exist” hoax were in Boas’ plan to impose socialism on America. He knew, as everyone did, that there were different races, which were distinguished by their respective inherited characteristics. However, the facts were inconvenient to Boas’ goal of imposing an ideology and state form that asserted that all men were the same and had identical abilities.

As he wrote, early on,

The anthropologist recognizes that the Negro and the white represent the two most divergent types of mankind,

And

It is true that the average size of the Negro brain is slightly smaller than the average size of the brain of the white race.

Boas and his devotees such as Ruth Benedict and Margaret Mead routed the empirical, scientific study of physical racial differences, and replaced it with “cultural environment theory”: All nurture, no nature. He also committed scientific fraud, in writing a “study” falsely claiming that the skulls of immigrants’ children grew larger, due to the environment in America.

Just as college departments of anthropology were reduced to socialist fronts providing propagandistic pseudo-science by Boas and his devotees (e.g., Margaret Mead and Coming of Age in Samoa, Ruth Benedict and Patterns of Culture, Boas’ works, etc.), Boas also helped socialist fronts outside of academia.

He was long involved with one such non-academic front, the NAACP. He sought to use this radical organization, in order to promote race mixing, blend the two races into one, and thereby eliminate the white and black races (in America, at any rate). To this end, he also spread lies touting great black African advances in antiquity.

As Dobbs wrote,

Boas busied himself with giving a professorial tone to the NAACP movement. The nation began to be bombarded by a barrage of so-called scientific opinion on the racial question. The major theme projected was that there are no fundamental differences among races. There was constant repetition that all mankind was cast from the same mold. Only some mysterious compound called the culture complex was said to create differences. For example, Boas would team up with Mary White Ovington in a book which emphasized that the only major differences between the white and Negro races are those of cultural environment. A whole bevy of transitory socialist fronts were created….

In the course of a few decades the well-organized Boas leftist anthropological phalanx had managed to cripple physical anthropology as a scientific discipline. This was done by degrees. The early works of Boas began with a mixture of the cultural approach with anthropometrical and biological data about the different races. Little by little, the physical aspects of anthropology were pushed into the background through ridicule [sound familiar?] and politically inspired charges. By the time Hitler rose to power, the socialists throughout the world, and the Boas group particularly, began to apply epithets of “racism” and “genocide” to those who endeavored to carry on scientific studies of the various races and sub-races of humankind. They were greatly helped by Hitler’s use of the racial theme to excuse his inhumanities.

The Nazi pre-occupation with the theory of Aryan “superiority” to justify their massacres of millions of innocent civilians was cited in literature, speeches, university lectures and newspapers, as the reason for damning all physical investigations into racial differences. [See the Left’s ongoing war on the Pioneer Fund and all whose research it has funded, including some of the world’s foremost scholars of intelligence, e.g., Richard Lynn, J. Philippe Rushton, and Linda Gottfredson.] By imperceptible degrees the Boas leftist school, which was made up of both socialist and communist partisans, began to create the impression that the Aryan “superiority” theory was a Fascistic abomination and invention.

Dobbs the shows that it was the Left, above all Marx’ collaborator, friend, and benefactor, Friedrich Engels, that had embraced and promoted the Aryan myth generations before Hitler did.

Boas’ fraudulent assertion that the races were equal in abilities was designed to become self-fulfilling through socialist agitation and social policy. Today’s phony “anthropologists” and other leftist pseudo-scholars (e.g., the late Stephen Jay Gould) are consciously continuing Boas’ work, and have extended his fraudulent claim that the races are identical in abilities to the even more obviously fraudulent claim that there are no different races, and that race exists merely as a “social construct.” And yet, they demand in all areas of human activity that one non-existent race be privileged, and other non-existent races be harmed.

The leftists who control WP/TPC are likewise continuing such pernicious propaganda, with the goal of wiping out the white race. Note that they do not even feign impartiality by at least citing dissenting, more scientific voices, let alone permitting anyone to expose Boas’ deceit, which they covered up.

Wikipedia: The Pearcy Massacre Still Never Happened (Expanded Version)

As few as one-tenth of one percent of the people in this country may have heard of the Pearcy Massacre, and though more people have heard of the Knoxville Horror, that is no thanks to the leftwing censors at Wikipedia or, as I call it, The Pretend Encyclopedia. The Pretend Encyclopedia, a handy source for the hottest new hoaxes presented as facts, is dominated by censor/propagandists who are allergic to the truth. Especially certain truths.

On Wednesday night, VDARE editor-publisher Peter Brimelow published my second investigative report on the racist atrocity in Arkansas I have dubbed the Pearcy Massacre: “‘Don’t Raise Your Voice at Me!’ [Click!] ‘Read a Law Book!’ [Click!]—A Pearcy Massacre Update.”

The quotes in the title were responses I got earlier this month from some people in the Garland County, Arkansas, criminal justice establishment, when I asked for any information on the case. But as readers will learn, I did eventually find sources willing to answer at least some of my questions.

On November 12, 2009, 80-year-old Edward Earl Gentry Sr.; his 56-year-old son, Edward “Eddie” Gentry Jr.; Eddie’s 52-year-old wife, Pam; Eddie and Pam’s 24-year-old son, Jeremy; and Jeremy’s 19-year-old girlfriend, Kristen Warneke, were all robbed and murdered, execution-style, and all but Edward Earl Gentry Sr. were burned beyond recognition, and thus could only be identified via dental records.

The leftwing censors at Wikipedia, or as I call it, The Pretend Encylopedia, either ignored or suppressed all reference to my first report, “Never Heard of the Pearcy Massacre? One Guess Why Not!” (There are censors at The Pretend Encylopedia who delete almost all references to my work, have sent a biographical entry someone wrote about me down the memory hole, and have threatened editors with being banned, merely for citing my work.)

The reason Wikipedia, like the national MSM, has ignored the case is because the victims were all white, and the suspects were all black.

The Pretend Encylopedia’s censors constantly delete references to race in entries on black racial atrocities committed against whites, and remove pictures of the blacks who committed them, coming up with phony claims such as that the mug shots cannot be used, because they aren’t in the public domain. If a mug shot taken by a police photographer isn’t in the public domain, nothing is!

They have used such fraudulent rationalizations to censor photographs of the black racists who kidnapped, beat, tortured, gang-raped and murdered Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom in the January, 2007 crime I dubbed the Knoxville Horror, which I have been covering for three weeks shy of four years, while using pictures of the victims which are not in the public domain. Thus, they are violating their own rules, coming and going. But that’s the Wikipedia way: At “the encyclopedia anyone can edit,” Wikithugs snow editors they hate with a blizzard of “rules,” all of which the thugs violate with impunity.

And every time an editor linked to one of my articles, the Wikicensors (e.g., “FloNight”) killed the link and deleted the reference, even going to the extreme of blocking all access to the entry for days on end, while they carried out their nefarious handiwork.

The Wikicensor who, in June 2007, was the most aggressive in withholding the truth from readers, a Kentucky nurse named Sydney Poore, who censors under the handle “FloNight,” gave the most inadvertently comical rationalization for censoring the victims’ picture:

“Remove image as only used to decorate article not critical to content discussed so not valid fair use claim.”

“Only used to decorate article” about two young folks who were kidnapped, beaten, gang-raped, sexually tortured and murdered?

Far from limiting speculation and rumors about the case, which was yet another of Poore/FloNight’s tortured rationalizations, she and her fellow Wikicensors helped fuel the fire.

In the first months after murders, the Web was afire with rumors that the victims had been sexually mutilated: That the killers had lopped off the penis of the living Christopher Newsom, and at least one of the breasts of the living Channon Christian. In my first investigative report on the case—the first investigative report anyone wrote on it—for American Renaissance on May 14, 2007, “The Knoxville Horror: The Crime and the Cover-Up,” I had succeeded at tracing those rumors back to their source: New Jersey-based, white supremacist/neo-Nazi Internet radio host, Hal Turner, who had begun spreading the hoax on or about February 21, 2007, i.e., 44 days after the victims’ bodies had been found.

A staffer at the CNN show, Paula Zahn Now, was so impressed with my research that she used it without attribution. In a May 29, 2007 episode devoted to the Knoxville case, the show displayed a screen-capture shot of my first American Renaissance report, but without mentioning me by name. The only part of the broadcast that seemed “new” to the uninitiated was in its repeating, without attribution, my spade work in hunting down Turner’s hoax. Zahn’s people acted as if they had done the investigative work.

CNN “reporter” Rusty Dornin even plagiarized an error I had made in my May 14 article, in identifying Turner as living “in New York.” He lived in New Jersey at the time. I corrected that error in a revised, expanded version of the article that American Renaissance published in its July, 2007 issue.

One month after the show stole my work, it was cancelled, anyway.

(On December 21, 2010, Hal Turner was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison for threatening violence against two Connecticut state legislators and three Chicago-based federal judges, respectively. He insisted that he had been part of a COINTELPRO-like program, in which he was a paid informer and agent provocateur, whose job it was to draw out violent white supremacist/neo-Nazi/whatevers, and had made the threats at the behest of his employer, the FBI.

According to the Associated Press, “At his trials the government confirmed that Turner did work for and with federal agencies, but that he went too far with his hate-filled remarks.” But since Turner was working the wrong side of the street, politically, the MSM has almost completely ignored the story.)

To return to Wikipedia, if Sydney Poore/FloNight had honestly wanted to dampen speculation, as she claimed, she would have left the references to my investigative work in the entry, and millions of readers who believed that Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom had been sexually mutilated, and were unaware of my work, would have learned the truth. Instead, Poore/FloNight’s political hatred for me aided and abetted the hoaxers, because no one learned from The Pretend Encyclopedia entry that the sexual mutilation story was a hoax. Millions of people still believe the hoax.

Over four years after the crimes, every now and then someone will still try and sneak the truth past the Wikicensors at the Knoxville Horror entry, but it never lasts. For instance, as recently as February 3, an anonymous editor added the essential adjective, “African American” to the entry’s second sentence, so that it read,

“They were both raped, tortured and murdered by three African American males and one female after being kidnapped early on the morning of January 7, 2007.”

The anonymous editor was not responsible for the now inaccurate time of the kidnapping, as it was already in the sentence. Knoxville authorities came to the conclusion over one year ago that the victims had been kidnapped in the evening of January 6, 2007, and that a call Channon Christian made home after midnight was after the gang had already kidnapped her and Christopher Newsom, and under their direction.

Well, the truth lasted exactly 70 minutes, before Wikicensor “Dougweller” removed it, giving the lie, “doesn't belong in lead, this was not a racial murder.”

The Wikicensors have done the same thing regarding the entries for the Wichita Massacre, and other black-on-white atrocities, and have likewise censored photographs and entire entries devoted to Crystal Gail Mangum, the racist black Duke Rape Hoaxer, but had no qualms about displaying photographs of Mangum’s three white victims for over one year.

After my second VDARE report on the Pearcy Massacre, I again checked The Pretend Encylopedia, to see if the censors had finally permitted someone to take note of the victims.

No such luck.

I checked under the names of all five of the victims, under “Pearcy, Arkansas,” under the name of the late murderer “Marvin Lamar Stringer,” and under the names of defendants “Jeremy Pickney” and “Samuel Lee Conway,” but came up with nothing. I guess the Pearcy Massacre is just a figment of my imagination.

To get a better feel for the dimensions of The Pretend Encylopedia’s deceptions and outright fraud regarding race, I recommend my 2008 American Renaissance exposé, “Wikipedia on Race: ‘World’s biggest encylopedia’ serves up propaganda.”

But it’s not just race. The Pretend Encylopedia is a veritable hoax machine.

Googling for this article under “Wikipedia” and “hoax” turned up 237,000 hits. Writers compete with lists of the most egregious Wikipedia hoaxes, which occur so frequently that a book recording them through 2010 would of necessity fill several thick volumes.

Pretend Encylopedia co-founder Jimmy “Jimbo” Wales, who has turned the Web site into a personality cult, and source for reportedly $75,000 a pop speaking fees (color me green!), recently managed to raise $16 million in record time for the site. If consumer fraud laws had any bite, he’d be in jail for claiming to be soliciting funds for an encyclopedia.

P.S. As of 11:49 a.m., on October 27, 2011, there is still no Wikipedia entry for the Pearcy Massacre.

Who is Chaudhry Rashid, and why should he matter to you?

As my VDARE editor-colleague James Fulford reports, Rashid is a Pakistani living in Georgia charged with having murdered his own daughter in an honor killing, two-and-a-half years ago.

But the censors at Wikipedia—you know, the cult co-founded by Jimmy Wales, who just raised $16 million in record time, under the fraudulent pretext that it was so that The Pretend Encyclopedia, as I call it, could keep readers better informed—are dedicated to keeping the public in the dark about this case, and millions of others that similarly show how multiculturalism is destroying America, according to plan.

Mr. Rashid is suspected of killing his daughter to preserve the family honor, an act not characteristic of actual "Georgia Men"--in the old stories about shotgun weddings, the shotgun was pointed at the prospective (if he knew what was good for him) son-in-law.

This custom has died out--who wants Levi Johnston for a son-in-law? But the custom of killing your daughter if she misbehaves is regrettably common among Pakistanis.

I can't find much more about Rashid. I'll just point out that WikiPedia deleted the article on him. The reasons given were that it wasn't notable enough--because of the lack of mainstream media coverage. Also I'll note that other stories about Mr. Rashid called him Georgia Dad and Jonesboro Man.

In July 2008, New York Post writer John P. Avlon claimed that the murder of 25-year-old Sandeela Kanwal—allegedly by her father, Chaudhry Rashid—was an "American Honor Killing."[8] Rashid is said to have strangled Kanwal to death with a bungee cord after she tried to end her arranged marriage.

However, the Wikithugs have no intention of permitting a separate entry to be devoted to this murder, and the lessons it has regarding the perils of Moslem immigration.

You will not find any entries in Wikipedia for George Leroy Baker III. If you start an entry on him, the Wikicensors who seek to have it deleted will say something like, ‘Being the victim of a crime alone is not justification for having an article about someone.’ But what they’ll really mean is, ‘Being the victim of a crime alone is not justification for having an article about someone … white.’

Wikipedia, or as I call it, The Pretend Encyclopedia, has articles about people who are known only because they were the victim of a crime: James Byrd Jr., Kitty Genovese, Matthew Shepard, et al. It even has articles about people like Paula Cooper, whose only claim to fame is having murdered someone. It doesn’t have an article about Cooper’s victim, Ruth Pelke, because Mrs. Pelke was white, while Cooper is a racist black, who targeted Mrs. Pelke based on the color of her skin.

Likewise, George Leroy Baker III was a white, heterosexual male who was targeted based on the color of his skin, and stomped to death by three black teenagers in Lynchburg, Virginia, on September 5, 2010. That not only made his death “unnotable” to the Wikicensors, but indeed made it important to them not to record the death of this devoted father and grandfather.

George Baker’s only chance at meriting “notability” at TPE will be if Wikipedians take up the cause of one or more of his killers—i.e., to help them escape punishment—in which case they may mention the victim, within entries on his killers.

Wikipedia: Pearcy Massacre Still Never Happened

Last night, VDARE editor-publisher Peter Brimelow published my second investigative report on the racist atrocity I have dubbed the Pearcy Massacre: “‘Don’t Raise Your Voice at Me!’ [Click!] ‘Read a Law Book!’ [Click!]—A Pearcy Massacre Update.”

The quotes in the title were responses I got earlier this month from people in the Garland County, Arkansas criminal justice establishment, when I asked for any information on the case.

On November 12, 2009, Edward Earl Gentry Sr., Edward “Eddie” Gentry Jr., Pam Gentry, Jeremy Gentry and Kristen Warneke were all murdered, execution-style, and all but Edward Earl Gentry Sr. were burned beyond recognition. The victims could only be identified via dental records.

The Wikicensors at Wikipedia, or as I call it, The Pretend Encylopedia, either ignored or censored all reference to my first report, “Never Heard of the Pearcy Massacre? One Guess Why Not!” (There are censors at Wikipedia who delete almost all references to my work, as well as a biographical entry someone wrote about me, and have threatened editors with bans, for citing my work.)

The reason Wikipedia, like the national MSM, ignored the case was because the victims were all white, and the suspects were all black.

After my second report, I again checked The Pretend Encylopedia, to see if the censors had finally permitted someone to take note of the victims.

No such luck.

Race Hustler Alert at Wikipedia! Someone Has been Making Mischief Regarding Maurice Clemmons’ Lakewood Massacre

One or two mischief-makers have tampered with articles at The Pretend Encyclopedia, aka Wikipedia, regarding black racist Maurice Clemmons’ ambush massacre of four white police officers in Lakewood, Washington on November 29. (See my 2008 American Renaissance exposé, “Wikipedia on Race.”)

In the article, “Maurice Clemmons,” someone slipped in,

Prior to his alleged involvement in the shooting, Clemmons had at least five felony convictions in Arkansas and at least eight felony charges in Washington.[2]

Alleged involvement? Editors will tell you that saying “alleged” is an ethical obligation, but they act out of prudence, based on a healthy respect for the libel laws, such as they are.

If a man is falsely accused, and able to clear himself before the statute of limitations runs out for a civil suit, he can sue for defamation any media outlet that falsely accused him. That’s why, when media operations want to defame a man while protecting themselves from costly litigation, they use “anonymous sources,” often government officials who are themselves seeking to railroad the subject in question, say by poisoning the jury pool (see the Bernard Goetz and Steven Hatfill cases). But the protection of the media is so broad, due to the Supreme Court’s decision in the New York Times Co. v. Sullivan case, which said that a victim must prove “actual malice”:

Held: A State cannot under the First and Fourteenth Amendments award damages to a public official for defamatory falsehood relating to his official conduct unless he proves ‘actual malice’ - that the statement was made with knowledge of its falsity or with reckless disregard of whether it was true or false.

And the High Court made that standard almost impossible to satisfy, at least against Big Media, which can almost always get away with pleading “absence of malice.” (Although the Sullivan decision was limited to the press libeling or slandering public officials, somehow it was extended over the years, in practice, to other public figures, and then to private persons.)

But once a bad guy gets his, there’s no obligation, ethically, prudentially, or legally, to say that he “allegedly” committed a crime that a study of the facts says he did. Indeed, it would be both morally perverse and idiotic to refrain from stating the obvious.

Maurice Clemmons was identified by a coffee shop employee as the killer; identified by the weapon he left at the scene of the crime as the killer; identified by the Glock pistol that he had taken off of one of his victims, and possessed at the time that Seattle PD Officer Benjamin L. Kelly shot him dead, as the killer; identified by the blood that he left on the seat of the first getaway truck, registered to one of his businesses, as the killer; identified by his old cellmate, then-fugitive Darcus Allen, who has admitted driving Clemmons to the coffee shop, as the killer; identified by his friend, Quiana Maylea Williams (originally misidentified as his sister), who tended to his wound, and had a blood-stained carpet to show for it, as the killer; and finally, identified by the slug fired into his gut by heroic, dying Lakewood PD Officer Greg Richards, as the killer.

And in the article, “Lakewood, Washington,” either the same deceiver or an ally slipped in the second sentence in the following paragraph.

Officers killed in the line of duty

On November 29, 2009, four Lakewood Police Department officers were shot and killed. Police believe Maurice Clemmons[12] walked into the Parkland Forza Coffee shop at around 8:15 a.m. After approaching the counter, he turned and started shooting.[13] Dead at the scene were Sgt. Mark Renninger, 39, and officers Tina Griswold, 40, Ronald Owens, 37, and Greg Richards, 42. Each of them had served with the department since its inception.[14] Two baristas and several customers in the shop were not injured.[13] Clemmons was shot and killed by a Seattle police officer two days later.[15]

These are the only Lakewood Police Department officers who have died in the line of duty.[14]

“Police believe”?! Police know. As do we all.

The redefining of black criminals as only “allegedly” guilty is a black thing. Black racists increasingly refer to convicted black criminals as only “allegedly” guilty committed the crime for which they were convicted. That is because for black racists, no black can be guilty of committing a crime in Ameri-kkk-a. It’s just the white man’s allegations, and the white man’s laws, which most blacks refuse to recognize, no matter how heinous the criminal, and even when the victims are themselves black. This mentality is a pillar of what I call the paranoid, black supremacist, jailhouse philosophy of law. “Jailhouse,” because that’s where it began, only now most blacks at all levels, including the penthouse, have the mentality of a bunch of convicts.

Update: 10:36 a.m., on Monday, February 21, 2011. Both Pretend Encyclopedia entries still contain the racist mischief!

Any news about the proceedings against Clemmons' various helpers and his driver, Darcus Allen, who is being charged with murder? I couldn't find anything recent when I did a Google search.

I didn't see any news regarding the Pearcy Massacre in Arkansas either.

I seem to recall a time when confessing to crimes precluded the need for trials, but when blacks confess to crimes today, they virtually always then plead "not guilty," and usually recant their confessions.

"Pearcy Massacre," what Pearcy Massacre? Never happened.

At the time, I checked, and although Google News typically listed not only every VDARE front-pager, but blogs and even reader letters, it refused to list my article. Google News now has a "custom range" function to go back in time. It says there has been no news about any Pearcy Massacre at all this year.

So, it's simple. There was no Pearcy Massacre.

I just found some news from 2 days ago on the Lakewood Massacre. It's from the Tacoma paper, The News Tribune. Five of Clemmons helpers are supposed to go on trial next month.

All of them are pleading not guilty. The defense attorneys tried to get the cases severed, but (unlike the Knoxville Horror), they will be tried together.

A Quick Look at Wikipedia Reveals Two Quick Lies

A quick look at The Pretend Encyclopedia revealed two quick lies.

I checked to see if anyone had corrected the hit-piece entry on my colleague, Marcus Epstein, about which I wrote a brief item on November 21. No such luck.

And it seems that just before my piece, some wikipropagandist had falsified Epstein's religious identity, changing it from “Category: American Jews” to “Category: American people of Jewish descent.”

Marcus is a Jew, not a person of “Jewish descent,” a category which covers Jews and gentiles alike. I suppose it could have been worse. Consider the barbarism “American people,” as opposed to simply “Americans.” At least The Pretend Encyclopedia has yet to do away completely with the adjective “American,” as part of the project to do away with America.

The top of the same page is devote to a large, fraudulent, fundraising appeal, “A personal appeal from Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales.”

Jimmy Wales isn't the founder of TPE/WP, he's its co-founder. Larry Sanger co-founded the site with Wales, but is not at fault for its status as a provider of half and whole lies.

Marcus Epstein

The Wikipedia entry on Marcus Epstein is a hit piece; no more, no less. It exaggerates negatives and opinionated attacks from the sleaziest of sources, not to mention sources whose existence cannot even be corroborated, and suppresses information that would cast the subject in a positive light, and his detractors in a negative one.

The WP propagandists call Epstein him “half-Jewish,” when he’s a Jew, pure and simple. (Though the notion has been widely promoted, outside of Nazism, there are no “half-Jews,” anyway.)

Wikipedians grant communist propaganda and defamation mill SPLC, violent, communist/anarchist/whatever group One People’s Project, and socialist mill Talking Points Memo status as “reliable sources.” Note that they ruthlessly censor mention of critical opinion pieces by non-leftists in entries on leftists.

On the talk page, WP enforcers seek to intimidate anyone who tries to use WP’s own standards with ad hominem attacks. When TheGoodLocust argued, “I have a problem with the scans coming from such an obviously biased source,” Wikienforcer 68.34.107.104 shot back,

TheGoodLocust, why are you tying to defend this dude? Are you related to him or in some Neo Conservative movement? The guy did it! If you need more evidence go to the federal court house website and look up his court records (you know its public record right?) Moreover this kid has a trespass violation from his days at William and Mary. At this point you just need to give it up and accept the fact that this dude is racist.

Wikicensors have cut information that would cast Epstein in a positive light, while exaggerating negative information. For instance, they repeat the sort of character assassination, guilt by association, and unsubstantiated charges that they would never tolerate, if engaged in by a right-of-center group against a leftist:

Epstein has been criticized by the Southern Poverty Law Center for writing "racist essays" for "the white nationalist hate website VDARE.com" and attending and hosting events featuring racist speakers.[7][8] A Belgian reporter covering the appearance of Vlaams Belang members said the Taft Club defended "white nationalism".[9]

Writers have charged the SPLC with racism and treason, but just try adding those criticisms to its Wikipedia entry.

The SPLC is morally on a par with the national socialist National Alliance. The “Belgian reporter” is unnamed, there is no link to any source, making the reference completely unacceptable (even if it weren’t fake, which it appears to be), and even if a name and a working link were provided, it’s still SPLC-style guilt by association.

There is no reference to anyone defending or praising Epstein’s articles, and nothing about the 2009 leftwing hate campaign that got his admission to law school rescinded.

Wikipedia, or as I call it, The Pretend Encyclopedia (TPE), has for years been a libel factory dominated by leftwing frauds, who fill its entries on controversial subjects with lies, while immediately censoring the occasional truth that might find its way in, and whitelisting the truthteller. The people who insert the lies and remove the truths are called “editors”; Wik founder and guru, James “Jimmy” Wales, insists that it is “the encyclopedia anyone can edit.”

It seems that an honest editor finally made an appearance at Wik/TPE, and fittingly, he was allegedly a blackmailer. In “Wikipedia ordered to reveal identity of ‘editor’ accused of blackmailing mother and child,” the Daily Mail’s Colin Fernandez reported,

A businesswoman smeared by an anonymous contributor to Wikipedia has won a landmark legal battle to have her accuser unmasked.

The victim had 'confidential and sensitive' details about her professional life and her child written into her page on the online encyclopaedia.

She also received anonymous threatening letters suggesting her accuser would reveal information to the press.

The businesswoman's identity is secret by order of the court but is thought to be wellknown in business circles.

Now the website has been ordered to hand over technical information to help track down the blackmailer.

The case is the latest example of Wikipedia - which has 325million visitors a month and can be edited by anyone - being used for malicious or mischievous ends.

Mr Justice Tugendhat said in his judgment at the High Court: 'In ordinary language, the mother believes that she is the subject of an attempt at blackmail. On the information before the court, she has reason to believe that.'

The amendments made to the woman's entry involved information about her professional expenses claims and details about her child which the judge did not reveal….

Retired Seattleite James Paroline, 60, a Vietnam veteran, was murdered last July by Keith David Brown, then 28.

On the evening of July 9, Paroline was watering the traffic circle garden at the intersection of 61st Avenue South and South Cooper Street, in Seattle’s Rainier Beach area, just as he did every day.

The garden had only recently been built by the city, after years of prodding by Paroline, who took it upon himself to do that sort of thing. Paroline placed the cones to keep his water hose from getting crushed, and presumably to protect himself from getting crushed, as well. The cones forced drivers to pass by the entrance to the intersection, and enter after the traffic circle.

Instead of doing that, a group of young black women and girls stopped their two cars, blocking traffic, and began harassing Paroline, trying to throw away his cones and, after he responded by splashing them with water, getting in his face and screaming at, and throwing a water jug at him. Then one of them called Brown, the career criminal-boyfriend of one of the girls’ sisters, who quickly drove to the traffic circle, and murdered Paroline with a sucker punch.

For the rest of the story, as the recently departed Paul Harvey, may he rest in peace, would have said, please turn to my American Renaissance exclusive, “Three Race Murders in Seattle,” on the racially motivated murders of Paroline and his fellow Seattlites, Kristopher Kime (during the 2001 Mardi Gras black race riot) and “the Tuba Man,” Edward Scott McMichael.

Although an entry was up at Wikipedia/The Pretend Encyclopedia (TPE) about Oscar Grant, the felon who was shot to death in the wee hours of New Year’s Day on an Oakland subway platform by BART policeman Johannes Mehserle less than five days after Grant’s death, and Google just returned 1,020,000 hits for “Oscar Grant shooting”; eight months after James Paroline’s murder, you won’t find any TPE entry devoted to, or so much as mentioning him, and his name returns a paltry 1,770 hits at Google, including references to my article.

And that is not at all surprising, in this day and age. After all, by TPE’s politically correct standards, there are four reasons not to have an entry on Paroline’s death: 1. Paroline is a dead white guy, so his life had no value; 2. Paroline was a Vietnam vet which, except for traitors and con men, is yet another invisible demographic to TPE’s leftwing enforcers; 3. He was a law-abiding citizen, which is so bor-ing; and 4. He was murdered by a black man, something that the lefties at TPE want no whites to know about. By contrast, those same lefties found the Grant shooting worthy of an entry, because: 1. Grant was black, his life thus intrinsically more valuable than James Paroline’s; 2. Grant was a felon, and thus an object of sympathy; and 3. Grant was shot to death by a white policeman, which made his life politically of use.

Will someone please post an article on James Paroline at TPE? Attention must be paid!

Monsters of the Midway – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This entry, which has not been touched since November 15, 2008, is supposedly about the Chicago Bears, whose historic nickname, going back to circa 1940, is “the Monsters of the Midway,” although that name has only been used when the team was dominant. In the third paragraph however, the entry gets kidnapped, and taken away to the Wikipedia Zone:

The team, which has now become the NFL's Arizona Cardinals, was originally the Racine Normals (named for the street on the South Side of Chicago where they played; the team eventually became the Chicago Cardinals), received their first uniforms as hand-me-downs from the University of Chicago. The faded maroon was fancied by the club's president to be a "cardinal" red color, so the team adopted "Cardinals" as its nickname. Through the years, the Cardinals were typically overshadowed by the Bears. Had the Chicago Cardinals enjoyed the success of their crosstown rivals, perhaps they would have inherited the nickname "Monsters" from the Maroons and not just their jerseys.

There is no rhyme or reason for the above paragraph, which does not fit at all into what precedes or follows it. But that’s The Pretend Encyclopedia for you: No rhyme or reason.

The “Monsters of the Midway” entry also honors another uniquely Wikipedian tradition, that of “editors” making entries worse over time. Until November 15, 2008, the opening paragraph read thusly:

The "Monsters of the Midway" is most widely known as the nickname for the National Football League's Chicago Bears — particularly the dominant teams of 1940 and 1941. The name underwent something of a revival when the 1985 edition of the Bears proved to be similarly dominant.

Similarly, the fourth paragraph began:

The popularity of "Monsters of the Midway" was revived by the dominant Chicago Bears defense of 1985.

Unlike hundreds of thousands of TPE/WP entries, these were perfectly serviceable paragraphs, written in clean, proper English. And that is exactly what made them unacceptable to editor “64.171.224.83,” who felt compelled, on November 15, to improvilate them:

The "Monsters of the Midway" is most widely known as the nickname for the National Football League's Chicago Bears — particularly the dominant teams of 1940 and 1941. The name underwent something of a renewal when the 1985 edition of the Bears proved to be similarly dominant….

“Renewal”? “Renewed”? Gimme a break!

As “64.171.224.83’s” talk page shows, she/he/it (s/h/it, for short) already had a history of improvilating entries.

By the way, “improvilate” is not a word in the English, or to my knowledge, any other language. I just thought that a properly improper term should be coined, in order to do justice to the pixilated practices of so many thousands of Pretend Encyclopedia/Wikipedia “editors.”

Please Don't Feed the Spammers!

What's the world's biggest spammer? A sex site? No. Those fake Google blogs that fool you into visiting them, and then refuse to permit you to navigate away from them, without shutting down the window they're in? You know, the ones that insist that they are a Microsoft Windows message from within your own pc, that has found malware on your computer, but actually is about to plant malware on your pc? Nope. The world's biggest spammer is The Pretend Encylopedia/Wikipedia!

"But how can that be?," you may ask. After all, aren't wikicensors running around 24/7, deleting links to articles which they decry as "spam" or "linkspam," which is meant to increase sites' search rankings? Indeed, they are. But that's not because they really are policing spam, but rather censoring true information that they don't want readers to see. (TPE/WP deletes real spam from sex sites, but now does so automatically through "bots.")

The TPE/WP difference is that the world's biggest spammer gets other people to do its spamming for it, by getting them to link to it! Wikienforcers insist on using "no-follow tags" for all outgoing links from TPE, but they never announce to the world that they are doing this. They encourage the world to link to them, in order to increase their own search rankings, but paranoidly suspect the world to be seeking to spam TPE, because they are merely projedcting their own spamming mentality onto everyone else.

There is, however, one exception to the “nofollow tags" rule.
TPE's enforcers use normal tags when linking to sites in which TPE co-founder Jimmy “Jimbo” Wales has a commercial interest, in order to increase their page rank.

The “Erdős–Bacon Number" or the Winchester Atrocity? Maintaining Standards at Wikipedia

On October 15, the tortured corpses of newlyweds, Marine Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak, 24, and Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak, 26, were found in their Winchester, CA home. Mrs. Pietrzak had been gang-raped, and husband and wife had each been bound, gagged, and shot, execution-style, in the back of the head.

Four “Marines” are in custody: Pvt. Emrys John, 18; Lance Cpl. Tyrone “Cripgeneral” Miller, 20; Pvt. Kevin Darnell Cox, 20; and Pvt. Kesaun “Psycho” Sykes, 21. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, all four confessed to the torture-murders, though there was some dispute as to who the rapists were. Each said he was innocent of the rape—though Sykes confessed to cutting Mrs. Pietrzak’s clothes off of her—but that his three accomplices had raped Mrs. Pietrzak. One thing that Miller, Cox, and Sykes all agreed on, however, was that John was the shooter. (In court, all four suspects have since pleaded “not guilty” to the crimes, which are death-penalty eligible.)

Sgt. Pietrzak was a helicopter mechanic at Miramar Air Station, in San Diego; John and Miller were his subordinates. Pietrzak was white; his wife was black, as are the defendants.

The official story is that the crime was committed for “financial gain,” but there was no financial gain. The killers took the husband’s digital camera and the wife’s engagement ring, but made no effort to sell them.

This was a racial killing. I believe that the motive was humiliation and murder, based on the killers’ racism—and thus their rage that a white man had taken a black woman for his wife—and the items the killers stole souvenirs, with which to recall and savor their crimes. As a black former Marine, Sabrina, who had married a white fellow Marine while in the service and whom black racists put through hell for it argued,

Everything about this case points to a racially motivated hate crime which is fueled by sexual jealousy! It is as much of a hate crime as what happened in 1955 to Emmett Till and in 1998 to Matthew Shepherd….

Wikipedia’s Presentation of the Case

Wikipedia claims to provide “the sum of all human knowledge,” yet as of 2:28 a.m., November 28, the only mention of this crime in all of Wikipedia’s “2,638,091 articles in English,” is the following, 22-word mention in the entry for “Winchester, California.”

Winchester, California

Winchester is a census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County, California, USA. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 2,155.

Largely rural for most of its history, Winchester experienced rapid growth during the housing construction boom in the early to mid 2000s. However, construction and growth slowed when the housing bubble burst in 2007, resulting in a housing market correction. In October of 2008, the town was rocked by the brutal murders of Marine Corps Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak and his wife, Quiana.

Then again, as I showed in my Wikipedia exposé in the July issue of American Renaissance, where race is concerned, such non-scholarship is par for the course at The Pretend Encyclopedia (TPE).

The Real Stuff of Encyclopedias: The “Erdős–Bacon Number”

The Wikipedia habitués whom I call, among other sobriquets, Wikithugs, make sure that none of Wikipedia’s entries on black-on-white atrocities honestly depict the crimes.

TPE also purports to be an inexhaustible font of “knowledge” about things like the “Erdős–Bacon number,” to which a 3,376-word entry has been devoted, replete with 69 footnotes.

What is an “Erdős–Bacon number,” you ask? Nothing at all, really. The notion is a third-hand trivia game, derived from the trivia game, “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon,” which was itself derived—no doubt by a fan of character actor Kevin Bacon—from the notion embodied in the title of John Guare’s 1990 play, Six Degrees of Separation. Another person—doubtless a camp follower of Hungarian mathematician Paul Erdős—then created an imitation Bacon trivia game, and combined the two.

Guare’s idea is that six degrees of acquaintance separates every human being from every other human being. Thus, limiting the notion’s application to Bacon’s acting career is contrary to Guare’s idea. Of course, few of the multitudes who use the phrase, “six degrees of Kevin Bacon,” in order to sound hip and knowledgeable have ever heard of, let alone read or seen the stage or film version of Six Degrees of Separation. (This writer has seen both versions.)

During the early 1980s, black con man David Hampton notoriously made fools of a series of white, leftwing, Manhattan socialites, claiming to be the son of Sidney Poitier (who, unbeknownst to them, had no sons!), in order to momentarily drop into their lives and homes, and by the way, pocket some symbolic small change from them. Guare, who was friends with some of the victims, fictionalized the real-life exploits of Hampton, who died in 2003, in order to meditate on the trivial, empty lives of rich Manhattanites—the lefty part somehow never made it into the play—and their desperate need for connection to “the other.”

(During the same period, I encountered alcoholic hustlers pulling similar cons in Vienna and Paris.)

For all the blather and footnotes, no one reading the Wikipedia/TPE entry for “Erdős–Bacon number” will even learn of this third-hand trivia game’s origins.

A person’s Erdős–Bacon number is the sum of one’s Erdős number—which measures the “collaborative distance” in authoring mathematical papers between that individual and Hungarian mathematician Paul Erdős—and one’s Bacon number—which represents the number of links, through roles in films, by which the individual is separated from American actor Kevin Bacon. The lower the number, the closer an individual is to Erdős and Bacon.

But Wikipedians and their third-hand trivia-loving counterparts in the “real” world refuse even to follow the rules of their own game. Thus, the first name on TPE’s Erdős–Bacon number “table” is that of Hank Aaron. But Hank Aaron never authored any mathematical papers. Why is he listed on the table? A Wikipedian gave a “reason,” but since it is completely at odds with the rules of the game, it can’t be the real reason.

What is the point of inventing a game, any game, if the players immediately throw its rules out the window? And aside from the fundamental issue of having “encyclopedia articles” about third-hand trivia games, what is the point of having encyclopedic-looking entries about such games, if those writing them violate their rules, even in their descriptions of the games, and fail to provide their historical background, which is their only aspect which is of intellectual or encyclopedic interest? (In case you were wondering, the “Erdős–Bacon number” entry is not a Wikipedia self-parody. The people dominating TPE suffer from extreme irony deficiency.)

Thus, Wikipedia is worthless, even as a compendium of trivia! That’s why I call it variously The Pretend Encyclopedia and Antipedia.

Nicholas Stix is a New York-based freelance investigative journalist and social critic who often writes on controversial issues such as race, feminism, and the media from a generally right-wing perspective. In 2006, researcher-journalist Carl Horowitz cited Stix in a list of “Northern paleoconservatives,” “a fraternity whose prominent names include Peter Brimelow, Steve Sailer, Nicholas Stix, Lou Dobbs, Tom Clancy, Mark Krikorian, Ted Nugent, Rep. Tom Tancredo, and yes, the late Sen. Robert Taft."

Stix founded A Different Drummer magazine (1990-93), which he continues online, and has written for numerous paper and online publications, including Die Suedwest Presse, New York Daily News, New York Post, Newsday, the Westsider, Chelsea Clinton News, Flatiron News, Middle American News, Toogood Reports, Global Politician, Insight on the News, Chronicles: A Magazine of American Culture, the American Enterprise, Campus Reports, VDARE, American Renaissance, the Weekly Standard, Front Page Magazine, the New York Press, New York Newsday, Ideas on Liberty, Academic Questions, National Review Online, Liberty, Men's News Daily, Intellectual Conservative, WEBCommentary, the Autonomist, the Magic City Morning Star, the Post Chronicle, the New Dominion, the Conservative Voice, The Illinois Leader, Enter Stage Right, MichNews OpinioNet, American Daily and News by Us. Controversies
Since the 1990s, Stix has written extensively on a number of controversies, including Kwanzaa; Ebonics; remedial education and grade inflation; New York City school scandals; one of the October Surprises in the 2000 presidential election; charges that on Election Day 2000, Florida state officials prevented black voters from going to the polls, or having their votes counted; bilingual education; the 2001 Cincinnati riots; the Steven Hatfill case; the racial profiling debate; the de-policing debate; race hoaxes; affirmative action; the Sally Hemings-’Thomas Jefferson imbroglio; the Jayson Blair case; the Brian Nichols case; the New York City police crime statistics scandal; the corruption scandals enveloping then-Gov. Jim McGreevey of New Jersey; then-Illinois State Sen. Barack Obama; the Associated Press "Boosgate" scandal; the CBS News "Memogate" scandal; The Color of Crime; what Stix called "reverse reporting" in ‘New Orleans, following Hurricane Katrina; the illegal immigration amnesty movement; what Stix charged was a cover-up by the Associated Press in the Baytown, Texas, black-on-white, homosexual serial rape case; the "Duke Rape Hoax"; and the "Knoxville Horror."

Praise and criticism
Stix’s work has elicited responses running the gamut. In 2002, in “The Crucifixion of Steven Hatfill,” Newsmax reporter Phil Brennan wrote of the attempt by the media and the FBI to link biodefense scientist, Dr. Steven Hatfill, to the previous fall’s deadly anthrax attacks, due to the anthrax letters having had the return address of a non-existent “Greendale School” in New Jersey, and Hatfill’s having once lived in Harare, Zimbabwe, near a neighborhood called “Greendale”:

“Investigative journalist Nicholas Stix took the trouble the rest of the media couldn’t bother themselves with. He contacted people in Zimbabwe and asked if anyone knew about the so-called Greendale school. Here are two answers he got:

‘There was [and still is] only one school in the neighbourhood. In my day, it was called Courtney Selous primary school. ... I checked on a NGO website which listed all the name changes which the government is proposing presently and discovered that the school is, indeed, still called Courtney Selous [after a famous 'White Hunter,' Frederick Courtney Selous, who featured prominently in early Rhodesian pioneer history]. Although the school is located in Greendale, it has never been known as “Greendale School.” No other schools have ever been built in the area.’

‘There isn't and never has been a Greendale School. There is a suburb in Harare called Greendale. The schools in that area were Courteney Selous School, which is a school for junior kids. The only other schools in that area were for high school, i.e Oriel Boys, Oriel Girls and Chisipite. There is a school that is called Greengrove but is not in the school zone in the area mentioned although it is fairly close.’”

In Richard P. Phelps’s book, Kill the Messenger: The War on Standardized Testing, he praises “free-lance investigative reporter Nicholas Stix” as being among the “small proportion of journalists [who] do make some effort at writing balanced stories on testing.”

In Writing Alone and with Others, Prof. Pat Schneider lists among “some of my favorites from other writers” two lines from one of Stix’s poems: “Please do not call to me mother / while I am making pancakes…”

Other writers have judged Stix negatively. In the article, “The Struggle over Language Rights,” published in the anthology, Rhetoric and Composition as Intellectual Work, Prof. Keith Gilyard identifies Stix as “a steadfast opponent of language rights for African Americans.”
While condemning Stix over the course of 1,300 words: “But as [sic] evident by now, Stix isn't much about logic,” “In the final analysis, intellectually speaking, Stix is for kids,” etc., Gilyard failed to disclose his prior history with Stix. In 1997, in the pages of the news magazine, Insight on the News, the two had squared off in a 3,500-word debate on the pedagogical value of using Ebonics in the classroom.

In 2005, after Stix published a story about convicted rapist Roman Polanski, Polanski’s victim, ‘Samantha Geimer wrote Stix,

“It should be a crime for you to make a living re-victimizing me with your stupid story.

”You and your fellow reporters are no better than Polanski.

”I wish you would all get sued for every lie your print."

Stix published Geimer’s letter, and responded that he had not written anything about her that wasn’t true, and had not taken the initiative in revealing her identity. Geimer had in recent years given numerous on-camera TV interviews, newspaper interviews in which she had permitted herself to be photographed, and had even revealed where she lived.

In "Into the Mainstream: Academic Racists' Work Inching Toward Legitimacy," in its Winter 2005 Intelligence Report, the Southern Poverty Law Center cited Stix as having written on the ‘New Century Foundation’s report, The Color of Crime, about which the SPLC was highly critical. On April 8, 2008, the SPLC’s Mark Potok condemned the National Policy Institute as a “white supremacist” organization, and wrote that Stix’s report, The State of White America-2007, “paints ‘a statistical and narrative portrait of the war on white America,’ in the website’s words. Nicholas Stix’s introduction "The State of White America: A Major New Study on American Race and Ethnic Relations," to the article describes the Supreme Court’s 1954 Brown vs. Board of Education ruling outlawing school segregation as ‘arguably the worse [sic] decision in the Court’s 216 year history.’ He claims later civil rights legislation was unconstitutional. ‘[I]ntegration and the civil rights movement led directly to the destruction of great cities,’ he concludes.”

More nuanced positions were taken by Thomas Jackson in the August 2007 issue of American Renaissance magazine and by Casey Sanchez, in the Fall 2007 Intelligence Report of the Southern Poverty Law Center. Reviewing the National Policy Institute report that Stix edited, The State of White America-2007, Jackson criticized Stix for the latter’s harsh tone in his introduction to the report, while praising him for his exhaustive report on black-on-white school atrocities, his analysis of the pitfalls of affirmative action hiring of black police officers, and for his chapter on black-on-white crime.

While in “The Big Lie: Criminal Cases Exploited to Attack Blacks,” Sanchez referred to Stix as a “white nationalist,” he praised him for casting doubt on uncorroborated Internet rumors, and for exposing journalist Michelle Malkin’s spreading of uncorroborated rumors regarding the murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

Deletionpedia: Home for the Ultratrivial, or Bulwark Against Wikipedia's Censorship?

I just stumbled across Deletionpedia. No, I did not make up the name.

Deletionpedia is an archive of about 63,540 pages which have been deleted from the English-language Wikipedia.

Deletionpedia is not a wiki: you cannot edit the pages uploaded here. An automated bot uploads pages as they are deleted from Wikipedia.

I was looking for a valentine one of my fans at the SPLC, Casey Sanchez, had written about me, and found instead my disappeared Wikipedia biography.

Like most everything on the Web, Deletionpedia is a mixed blessing. It is not a full counterweight to the wikicensors at The Pretend Encyclopedia (TPE), because it only reproduces entries that have been banned in their entirety. However, the wikicensors more typically work by censoring the truth, and inserting lies into entries, rather than “disappearing” entries in toto. They went to the trouble of disappearing my entire entry, because a number of TPE gauleiter are obsessed with me, and seek to suppress public knowledge about my work. I’ll name them later.

I’m hardly the only one the gauleiter are obsessed with. They are constantly calling for the deletion of new entries on right-of-center journalists and intellectuals, and when they don’t disappear the entries wholesale, they engage in their usual dirty tricks, as mentioned above. For a record of some of their chicanery in this regard, just check the biographical entries for conservative writers that editor href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Comradesandalio>Comradesandalio has worked on, and see how many have been nominated for deletion.

And when the gauleiter don’t have the nerve to immediately call for an entry’s deletion, they get cute, and claim that it lacks “notability,” as one gauleiter did only five hours after Comradesandalio started the entry for the brilliant political writer who works under the pseudonym, “Takuan Seiyo.” (For a prime sample of “Seiyo’s” intellectual and moral power, see “The Case of the ‘Disappeared’ Subprime Minority Borrower.” (Full disclosure: I am a VDARE contributor. However, I have never published under the name, “Takuan Seiyo.”)

I was ready to say that Deletionpedia a mixed blessing, in that, due to their libelous character, some entries at The Pretend Encyclopedia really do need to be eliminated, but DP’s founder, David Batley, aka physics dave aka TPE User: H2g2bob, already anticipated that issue, and goes out of his way not to preserve libelous TPE entries. If only TPE would show such care to prevent libel!

Leave it to an Ars Technica blogger named Nate Anderson to completely miss the point of Deletionpedia: “Deletionpedia: Where entries too trivial for Wikipedia live on.”

I was tempted to do a background check on Anderson, to determine whether he reduced Deletionpedia to the hoarding of trivia out of ignorance or political hackery, but then I caught myself. Nate who? This guy’s really too … trivial.

Let's Edit Wikipedia!

"The encyclopedia anyone can edit," can't be edited by just anyone.

If we are going to edit Wikipedia, aka The Pretend Encyclopedia (TPE), why not start with the entry for ... Wikipedia?

TPE's entry for Wikipedia contains passages like the following, in the section “Reliability and bias”:

Concerns have also been raised regarding the lack of accountability that results from users' anonymity,^[68] and that it is vulnerable to vandalism, the insertion of spurious information and similar problems. In one particularly well-publicized incident, false information was introduced into the biography of John Seigenthaler, Sr. and remained undetected for four months.^[67] Some critics claim that Wikipedia's open structure makes it an easy target for Internet trolls, advertisers, and those with an agenda to push.^[69]

Seeing as the passage comes from a parallel, fictional universe, and Wikipedia/TPE advertises itself as “the free encyclopedia anyone can edit,” one might want to add a modest passage from the real universe we live in, say:

Others make the opposite argument: they say that Wikipedia only appears to have an open structure, but is in fact dominated by politically biased cliques of editors and administrators who push a leftwing agenda, at the expense of the truth, and who hound those contributors who fail to toe the line.

I’d write a much fuller passage, but I want it to blend in, stylistically, with the pretend paragraph, and what with the constant censorship, there’s no point putting a lot of time into a correction.

Alright, now hit the “edit this page” link at the top, and let’s go! Oops! I can’t find an “edit this page” link. I do, however, find a little lock symbol in the page’s upper right-hand corner. Passing my cursor over the lock flashes the legend, “Semi-protected.” It’s not “semi-protected,” it’s in lock-down.

In wikispeak, “semi-protected” means you can only edit a page if you are a “registered,” as opposed to an “anonymous” user. If you start editing at TPE without registering, you will receive a personal-sounding message (at your talk page, I guess; I can’t remember any more) from a (ro)“bot,” suggesting you register, and noting that there are advantages to registering. Wikipedians claim that registering affords an “editor” (at TPE, everyone’s an editor) “more privacy” than anonymous editing, whereby your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) number will be recorded on the entry’s “revision history” page. If you are using a work computer, people may be able to track you down, but if you are using a personal computer that is not part of a business, whether your Internet service provider (ISP) has given you a stable IP number or you float within a range, your name will likely not be listed by any “whois” service.

A Wikipedian will respond, “When we say that registering confers benefits, we mean such as greater privacy and being able to edit more articles.”

But registering only gives you added privacy, if you are editing TPE from a work computer; otherwise, it offers no privacy at all. And if you register, the characters running Wikipedia, aka “The Cabal,” will know who you are. So much for privacy. “But we’re the good guys,” they will protest, adding “Nobody wanting to edit Wikipedia has any business hiding her or his or its identity from its administrators.” Oh, yes, she/he/it—s/h/it for short—does. The administrators running TPE are its biggest problem.

As for registering giving you access to edit more articles, that’s true, but only because of The Cabal’s lies and misconduct. Lie: That TPE’s vandalism problems are chiefly due to “anon users”; no, they’re chiefly, or at least equally due to registered users—wikithugs. The cabalists, who are wikithugs, and their helpers, the would-be cabalists among of wikithugdom, use this lie as cover for their abuse of non-registered users, routine “insertion of spurious information” into entries, and routine censoring of true information from them. Indeed, just about any rationale any cabalist or would-be cabalist gives for any action, is nothing but a cover story rationalizing abusive behavior. (Not all administrators are wikithugs or even cabalists, but they’re not the problem, and they are not going to stand up to the cabalists, because they would then lose their “adminships.”)

After months of observing and trying to counter such abuse, I found Web sites and blogs by Wikipedia critics, many of whom had had the exact same sort of experiences, and made the exact same observations, though typically in saltier language than I’m using.

And that’s when I decided to turn the tables on the wikithugs, and give them a taste of real encyclopedic research. I devoted close to two years to the research, including studying work by others, who had in turn devoted thousands of man hours to researching TPE. I even warned the wikithugs early on, that they were making fools of themselves for the whole world to see, but on their turf, with its zero tolerance policy towards criticism, they felt invulnerable. (When they libeled someone I know and respect, but whom they hate, and I told them what they were guilty of, informed them that such behavior was actionable, and that I hoped their victim would sue them, they banned me for an “infinite” duration. But they also finally removed the libels from the entry in question, something they otherwise would never have done.) That research culminated in my first Wikipedia expose, “Wikipedia on Race,” which just appeared in the July issue of American Renaissance.

After reading my introduction to TPE, the best places to learn more about it are antisocialmedia.net, All’s Wool that Ends Wool, Conservapedia, the wikipedia review, Nonbovine Ruminations, Slashdot, Wikitruth, Wikipedia Watch and The Register.

The best way for dealing with the registered/non-registered user issue is to register, but give false information. The wikithugs do not (yet) require verification of one’s identity. But that still won’t protect you from being censored, blocked, and ultimately banned, if you get caught smuggling the truth into TPE. Of course, you could always re-register, under a new false identity, but why bother? The important thing is to study outlets that publish true information, and support said undertakings, whether through working for them, subsidizing their operations, or promoting them, or start your own, and let the world know about both the honest publishers and the frauds.

Google has whitelisted this site (and my exposé promo at my blog, Nicholas Stix, Uncensored), which does not show up under its own name or under mine in its Web or blog listings, even though it appears second under its title at Yahoo, after The Pretend Encyclopedia listing for “follies.” Ain’t that a kick in the head, especially considering that this is a Google blog? So, I’m testing to see if this post, which only references someone else, will be listed or censored.

Oh, you didn’t know that Google censors people? It may just be the world’s biggest censor, this side of Red China. I call it New Age totalitarianism.

Wikipedia on Race
